Basic Salsa

INGREDIENTS :

  • 1 cup (2 – 3 dl) fire roasted tomatoes (remove the seeds if you want it less watery)
  • 1/2 cup (1 dl) onion
  • 1/4 cup (0.5 dl) cilantro
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1 or more peppers (to desired heat)
  • 1 lime, juice of
  • salt, pepper and ground cumin, to taste

INSTRUCTIONS :

  • Purée using a food processor or hand blender.
  • Season to taste with lime, salt, pepper and cumin.

NOTES :

Fire roasted bell peppers are a great addition, as well as paprika and other spices.

Purée and season to taste.
