INGREDIENTS :

  • 1 1/2 cup (3.5 dl) masa harina (dried dough made from ground nixtamalized corn)
  • 2 tbsp lard, butter or oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 1/3 cup (3 dl) boiling water

INSTRUCTIONS :

  • Stir to combine all ingredients into a smooth dough.
  • Cover and allow to rest for at least 30 minutes.
  • Divide into 12 equal pieces and flatten into thin, round disks (it helps to place the dough between two pieces of parchment paper).
  • Cook on a hot griddle or pan until a little browned on each side.
