Guacamole

- 2 – 3 avocados (must be ripe)
- 4 tbsp tomato, diced
- 2 tbsp onion, diced
- 2 tbsp cilantro, chopped
- 1 garlic clove, minced (optional)
- 1/2 jalapeƱo, deseeded (optional)
- 1 lime, juice of
- salt and pepper, to taste
Mash the avocados and add the remaining ingredients. Season to taste with lime juice, salt and pepper.
Leave an avocado seed in the guacamole to prevent it from going dark.
If you also make Pico de Gallo, reserve a few tablespoons for your guacamole.
