INGREDIENTS :
1.5 cups
(3.5 dl)
finely ground almond flour,
preferably from blanched almonds
1.5 cups
(3.5 dl)
powdered sugar
1
egg white
(or 2 tbsp oil or corn syrup to bind)
a few drops
almond extract,
to taste
a few drops
rose water,
to taste (optional)
INSTRUCTIONS :
Mix by hand, with a stand mixer or blender.
Transfer to a surface dusted with powdered sugar and shape as needed.
Wrap in plastic and store in the refrigerator.
NOTES :
I use orange blossom water from Tunisia for my marzipan. Tastes wonderful!
