2 cups(5 dl)chicken brothor water with a chicken bouillon cube
1/2 cup(1 dl)tomato sauce / purée
1garlic clove
1tspsalt
1tspground cumin
INSTRUCTIONS :
Sauté rice in oil until lightly browned (optional).
Always keep the lid on when cooking rice.
Add the remaining ingredients and bring to a boil.
Stir, then allow to simmer (under lid) over low heat until most of the liquid has been absorbed (about 20 minutes). You can stir occasionally to prevent sticking to the bottom.
Remove from heat and allow to swell under lid until done.
NOTES :
I usually skip the sautéing and just start with everything in the pot. Still tastes great!
