- 10-12 small or medium potatoes
- 4 tbsp butter
- 1 tsp salt
- 4 tbsp bread crumbs
Set the oven to 400°F (200°C). Peel the potatoes and slice them thinly, but keep the bottom intact so that they still hold together (place the potato in a spoon or between two chopsticks to stop the knife from cutting all the way through). Transfer to a lined baking sheet and place thin slices of butter on top of each potato, or melt the butter and brush it on. Sprinkle with salt and bread crumbs. Bake until soft and golden brown, about 45 minutes.
