- 2 cups (5 dl) all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 2 tbsp oil, lard or butter
- 3/4 cup (2 dl) warm water
Mix and knead until the dough comes together. Cover with a lid or plastic wrap and allow to rest for at least 30 minutes. Divide the dough into 12 small or 6 equal sized pieces and roll them into balls. Using a rolling pin and a generously floured surface, roll the dough into very thin flat discs. Cook for a few minutes on each side on a hot griddle or frying pan. Allow to cool covered by a clean towel. Can be stored in a sealed plastic bag for several days.
