Homemade Croutons

INGREDIENTS :

  • 1 loaf of bread, cut into 3/4 inch (2 cm) cubes
  • 1/2 cup (1 dl) melted butter (or oil)
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • flavorings, for example garlic, herbs and spices

INSTRUCTIONS :

  • Toss until well combined and spread on a lined baking sheet.
  • Bake at 375°F (190°C) until golden brown, about 15 – 20 minutes.
  • Store in an airtight container.

NOTES :

Personal favorite:
Melted butter mixed with minced garlic and chopped parsley (i.e garlic bread croutons).
