Quick Kulfi / No-Churn Ice Cream

INGREDIENTS :

  • 2 cups (5 dl) heavy cream
  • 1 can (400 ml) sweetened condensed milk
  • any flavorings you prefer
  • (I used 1/2 tsp saffron threads and 1/2 tsp ground cardamom)

INSTRUCTIONS :

  • Beat the cream until firm peaks form.
  • Fold in the condensed milk and flavorings.
  • Transfer to a container, cover and freeze for at least 4 hours.

NOTES :

Saffron, vanilla and similar spices can be steeped in 1/2 cup (1 dl) of the cream, which is cooled down before adding it to the ice cream mixture.
