Vinaigrette Dressing

INGREDIENTS :

  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp sugar (optional)
  • 3 tbsp vinegar of choice
  • 1/2 cup (1 dl) oil (usually a neutral, flavorless oil)
  • salt and pepper to taste

INSTRUCTIONS :

  • Whisk together all ingredients until emulsified (creamy).

Citrus-balsamic vinaigrette

  • Use balsamic vinegar, neutral oil and sugar. Add 1 – 2 tsp lemon juice or 1 – 2 tbsp lime juice.

Italian dressing

  • Use white or red wine vinegar and olive oil. Add garlic and dried herbs such as oregano, basil, thyme and parsley.

    1. It is described under Citrus-balsamic vinaigrette. Just add 1 – 2 tbsp lime juice (preferably fresh) to the basic recipe. You can use any vinegar, but balsamic vinegar tastes better with citrus in my opinion. Thanks for commenting and hope you enjoy!
