Basic Gravy

INGREDIENTS :

  • 3 cups (7 dl) chicken or beef broth
  • 4 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup (1 dl) heavy cream

INSTRUCTIONS :

  • Use the broth to deglaze the pan and pour it through a strainer or sieve.
  • Whisk in flour and heat until thickened, then dilute with cream and let it simmer.
  • Season to taste and serve.
