- 1 tbsp bread crumbs
- 1/2 tbsp potato or corn starch
- 4 tbsp heavy cream
- 1 lb (0.5 kg) ground beef, preferably mixed with ground pork
- 4 tbsp minced onion
- 1/2 tsp salt
- pinch of black or white pepper
- 1/2 tsp anchovy paste (optional)
- 1 egg (optional)
Mix bread crumbs, starch and cream, then let it sit for a few minutes.
Meanwhile, mince or grate the onion.
Combine all ingredients in a bowl and shape into balls or patties.
Fry them in butter or butter-oil blend until the crust is nicely browned and the inside a little pink.
Taste and sprinkle with salt, if needed.
