Tortilla Strips

INGREDIENTS :

  • 6 small tortillas (corn is best, but flour works too)
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • dusting of chili powder or paprika
  • dusting of onion powder
  • dusting of garlic powder
  • sprinkle of salt
  • sprinkle of black pepper or cayenne

INSTRUCTIONS :

  • Brush the tortillas with oil and dust/sprinkle seasonings on both sides.
  • Stack and cut them into 1/2 inch (1 cm) strips.
  • Spread on a lined baking sheet and bake at 375°F (190°C) until crisp and golden, about 15 – 20 minutes.
  • Allow to cool completely before storing in an airtight container.
