Corn Tortillas

Making your own tortillas tastes so much better than the plastic wrapped you find in the store. At first it may feel a little tricky to transfer the flattened dough to the griddle but it is quite easy once you get a hang of it.

Smörgåstårta (Swedish Sandwich Cake)

Many find sandwich cakes odd, but it is simply a festive way to serve sandwiches. Great for large gatherings as part of a buffet along desserts and drinks. In Sweden they are commonly served at special occasions, such as baptisms, graduation parties, birthdays and funerals.

Swedish Limpa (Sirapslimpa)

One thing I always missed since moving to America was this soft, sweet and flavorful bread. I finally found the perfect recipe that tastes just like my favorite Swedish limpa.


Tall, buttery and flaky, these amazing biscuits are really quick and easy to make.

Naan / Peshwari Naan

This bread is great as is or filled with almonds, coconut and raisins in the Peshwari style. Make the dough ahead of time and cook it just before serving on a hot griddle or grill.

Homemade Croutons

Making your own croutons is easy and gives you a chance to add your own flavors. Using dark rye or sourdough bread makes them way more interesting than the store-bought variety.

Flour Tortillas

No kneading or rising is necessary to make these fluffy and soft tortillas. And they taste so much better than the ones from the store! Make smaller ones for soft tacos and quesadillas, or large ones for burritos and other wraps.


Grilled cheese sandwiches, Mexican style. Great with salads, soups or as a quick snack. Fill them with chicken or ham, tomatoes, peppers and onion for a complete meal.
